The next sale for the Realme Buds Air Neo is scheduled for May 28th at 12 (noon). The sale will be live at leading e-retailer Flipkart and the Realme website. The company has also announced that the product will soon be available at offline retail stores. As per the latest information on the lockdown 4.0 guidelines, the sale of non-essential goods has been resumed in non-containment zones all across the country.

Realme Buds Air Neo: Features and Specifications

Realme Buds Air Neo is essentially a toned-down version of its predecessor Buds Air. And due to this reason, Realme has fairly priced the Realme Buds Air Neo at Rs 1000 lower than the Buds Air which is available at Rs 3,999.

The Realme Buds Air Neo is powered by the proprietary R1 chipset. The same chipset is used to power the Realme Buds Air as well. This chipset enables the earbuds to have latency rates of 119.2ms when using a super low latency mode.

The Realme Buds Air Neo comes with a 13mm dynamic driver. It also has a dynamic bass boost solution to deliver an enhanced bass experience. The device can be connected to your smartphone with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Google fast pair protocol is supported and the earbuds can automatically pair after the case cover is opened. The device also supports a few touch controls. For e.g. you can double-tap the earbuds to pause or play a track or you can triple-tap to skip to next song. The earbuds come with microphone for noise cancellation.

Now, let’s talk a little bit about the battery life. The company claims that the Realme Buds Air Neo can deliver up to 3 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge. If we factor in the charging case support, then the earbuds can provide up to 17 hours of battery life on a single charge. The case has a Micro-USB port for charging. Unlike Realme Buds Air, the Realme Buds Air Neo does not support wireless charging and it also does not have USB Type-C port.

In conclusion, we can say that Realme Buds Air Neo is definitely a great entry-level truly wireless earbud. You must go for these if you want to buy earbuds below Rs. 3000. Although if you are confused between Realme Buds Air Neo and Realme Buds Air and you do not have a budget issue. We would recommend going with the later as it has a lot better features with a relatively lesser price difference.
