Samsung recently launched the new Odyssey G9 gaming monitor in India. These curved monitors are specially designed for pro gamers and content creators who are looking for some high definition action. 
Additionally, the company has also launched the Odyssey G7 gaming monitor with the G9 version of the model. Both monitors have been priced between Rs. 49,000 to Rs. 1,99,000. 
The model was launched globally, in the month of June, and has several amazing features to look forward to.

Odyssey G9 Specifications 

The 49-inch monitor comes with some superb features including 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and HDR support for the love of gaming. It has a VA panel, with 1ms GTG (Grey to Grey) response time. 

Talking about the appearance of the monitor, the G9 has a glossy white texture exterior and a futuristic infinity core lighting glowing rear core. 

The dual High Definition supports 5120 X 1440 pixels with a 32:9 aspect ratio. For a mesmerizing and wholesome experience, the monitor offers a 1000R curvature. It offers 100 x 100 wall mounting, with the stand giving other supports like height adjustment, tilt, and swivel capabilities. 

It has a brightness level of 1000 nits and a contrast ratio of 2500:1. Moreover, the monitor covers 92% Adobe RGB coverage, with 88% coverage of the NTSE colour range and 125% of sRGB coverage. 

Some other mindblowing features of the monitor include flicker-free technology, eye saver mode, gaming mode, picture-in-picture, black equalizer, low input lag mode, and many more.

You will also get a FreeSync Premium Pro with the smart monitor. In terms of connectivity, the monitor supports two Display port interfaces, one HDMI port, two USB ports, and one headphone jack.  

The curved monitor is quite light in weight, weighing only about 16.7 Kgs, for providing you with easy portability. In addition to this, you will also get features like Samsung’s Infinity core lighting on the backside and can offer 52 colours, with five lighting effects.  
The display of the monitor has also been certified by TUV Rhineland for eye comfort certificate. 
 
Both G9 and G7 will support Nvidia G-Sync and Adaptive-Sync on DP 1.4 for ensuring that every frame of the video matched with the graphic card.
