Xiaomi has recently launched the new Mi 11 in China. This is the new flagship phone unveiled by the company. It is also the first smartphone to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The processor was also launched earlier this month and will be used to power the next series of phones.
This company also claims that the phone will have Xiaomi’s most advanced display to date. The brand has been very active in India and is determined to provide budget smartphones with advanced features to its users.
There has been no information about the global launch of the smartphone by the company till now.
Some highlights of the phone include an improved processor, amazing display, triple rear cameras for better pictures, massive battery backup, and more.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Price and Availability
The phone has a total of three variants, launched by the company- 8Gb + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.
The 8GB + 128GB version of the smartphone has been kept at CNY 3,999 (roughly amounting to Rs. 45,000). Next is the 8GB + 256GB variant, launched at CNY 4,299 (roughly amounting to Rs. 48,300). The last variant- 12GB + 256GB has been priced at CNY 4,699 (approximately amounting to Rs. 52,800).
The Mi 11 smartphone will be available for pre-order in China at 10 PM CST Asia from tonight and the official sale is planned to begin from January 1, 2021.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Specifications
The Mi 11 smartphone will run on the latest version, Android 10 with MIUI 12.
The phone also has an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, that is paired up to 12 GB of LPDDRS RAM.
This dual SIM phone features a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD, AMOLED display. Besides, the screen also showcases 1500 Nits of peak brightness, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, and 551 PPI pixel density.
Also, the screen supports DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10+display. It will also provide Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation features.
The Mi 11 smartphone also has a hole-punch design that includes a 120 Hz refresh rate, that can go down to 30 Hz. The difference in the rate will depend on the usage of the phone. It also has a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz.
The screen will also have a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top of it, with 8192 levels of brightness adjustment.
For clearer pictures, the phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, having a 108 megapixels primary camera with 1.6 microns pixel size. It comes along with an f/1.85 lens and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is also equipped to capture up to 8K videos.
The selfie camera includes a 13-megapixel secondary sensor, with an f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens. It has a field-of-view of 123 degrees. Moreover, there is a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor, having an f/2.4 macro lens with a focal length similar to 50 millimeters.
There are multiple connectivity options in the phone including, 4G, 5G, LTE, WIFI 6E, NFC, GPS, A/GPS, and USB Type C cord.
