The Indian smartphone brand Lava is set out to do something new this month. It has sent out invitations for an online event to be held on January 7th to launch brand new smartphones.
The company has released a teaser earlier this week revealing the ‘evolved and dynamic engineering’ the new phones will have.
It also built hype around its announcement on the Twitter handle, saying that “The day when Smartphone industry will never be the same again.”
The President and Business Head of the company, Mr. Sunil Raina, also said that this announcement will offer something new for the users. He also hinted that it is something that has never happened in the smartphone industry before.
Since the devices would be made locally, the Made in India initiative will gain a lot of focus during the event.
It has already listed the ‘Lava BeU’ model on its website, designed by keeping women buyers in mind. It also said that a total of 4-5 phones would be launched through this initiative.
Lava Event Details

Never has been smartphone engineering been so dynamic and evolved, all thanks to our dedicated engineers. Make sure to tune in to the live webcast and I promise you will feel proud to be an Indian during the event.”
